Reactions added to Blogger blog

I had to "Design" | "Edit HTML" & click "Revert widget templates to default".

I was a bit nervous, but since I haven't done very much there was nothing to lose, and it worked.

Google +1 Button added to web4 website

Having thought about the +1 button I figured I would see if it could be added to my Google Site.

Not so easy.  Needs an edit of the HEAD, which doesn't appear to be an option.

But Alexandro has developed a Gadget that works straight out of the box (as long as you edit the URL to apply the +1 button to!)

Follow the instructions here.

Official Google Blog: The +1 button for websites: recommend content acro...: "Since we started rolling out the +1 button in March, you’ve been able to recommend content to your friends and contacts directly from Googl..."

"We hope you’ll agree that +1 buttons across the web make it even easier for you to recommend content to your friends and contacts, and make search results even more helpful and relevant."

It will also make it easier for Google to boost good sites that people like. Not so complicated Machine Learning Algorithms required.
